In the book of Numbers, God was furious with His own people due to their sinful ways, and was ready to destroy them. Moses interceded and swayed the hand of God. Prayer changes things! Standing in the gap for Japanese who do not know Jesus Christ is our goal and duty. To lift up to God the great needs of this nation for salvation is our joy. The cost of living in Japan is expensive on all sides. Rent for facilities, ministry resources such as Bibles, books and CDs, printing of flyers and handouts, tracts and materials for outreach. This web site has one main vision – to help reach the Japanese for Christ. In doing so, this effort is represented by three purposes:
1) AWARENESS & EDUCATION
By making others aware of the needs of the Japanese and those working for Christ in Japan, a larger prayer and financial base can be grown. This also allows for others who are interested (on any level) to become more educated and in turn, create pockets of fruitful discussion and motivation for further involvement with Japan Missions. Bottom line, it’s all about networking.
2) COLLABORATION
By offering a portal of information and cross-connection for the general public as well as those ministering in Japan, we believe this will only strengthen all who participate. Because the Internet is so full of anything and everything you can imagine, we felt this cause needed to be simple and clear with the hope of building ministry, personal, and even business relationships in the process.
3) ENCOURAGEMENT
We realize the mission field in Japan has its difficultities. For the very same reason, the fruit of that labor is much more valuable. It’s like mining for diamonds. They don’t just fall out of the rocks when you dig a hole. They are hard to find, difficult to mine, but the value is unlimited because it is not seen in its fullness until it is cut and polished.
We believe, based on Mark 11:23, that Japan can and will be saved as a nation — from its downward spiral of false beliefs, social issues, family fallout, idols and materialism.
The Japanese are a wonderful people who have much to offer the world!
We love the Japanese people and culture. This site is meant to help others to work together in order to help bring salvation through Christ alone to Japan. If you are inclined in faith to believe together, you are more than welcome to participate in the comments and forum portions of this site.
